Rev. Gabriel has a Ph.D. in Educational Guidance and Counseling from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master of Arts in Theology from the Evangel Theological Seminary in Jos, Plateau State. He has a Diploma in Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from the Assemblies of God School of Divinity, Old Umuahia, Abia State. He acquired a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a Master of Educational Guidance and Counseling from Abia State University, Uturu.

His wealth of experience cuts across his foray into running his personal business, pastoral work, lecturing in the seminary, church leadership, and currently serving as the General Treasurer of the Assemblies of God Nigeria.

He has authored and published about 15 books, booklets, and several articles.
